The Data Logger Dipper- PTEC is a Level Pressure probe that measures level based on relative pressure. It measures not only Level but also has a combined Temperature and EC (Electric Conductivity) measurement. This makes this probe a great solution for e.g. salinity measurements combined with level measurements. One of the applications for this sensor is salt water intrusion measurement in groundwater or surface water.

Low maintenance:
Low operating costs, 1.5 V size C replaceable batteries, without the need to use tools (option: 3.6 V lithium batteries to maximise the service life)

Installation using 1" tube diameter (probe)

For each measurement task - a suitable measurement routine: single value measurement, average value measurement, event control (swell mode, delta mode), flow calculation (W/Q table, polynomial), calculation and storage of salinity, TDS value and water density.

Accurate and reliable:

  • Conductivity measurement electrode with automatic measuring range switching, for maximum resolution (0-0.2 mS/cm; 0.2-2 mS/cm; 2-20 mS/cm; 20-200 mS/cm)
  • Water level: 0.05 % Measurement accuracy (= 1 cm at 20 m measuring range)

1.4539 stainless steel housing can also be used under extreme environmental conditions (landfill sites, contaminated sites, brackish water etc.)

2-step, permanent flood protection up to 3 m (standard), also available in IP68 (Type Dipper-APT)

Two clever apps are available for configuration and data read-out of the Dipper-PTEC. Operating software for beginners SEBAConfig (Windows) a comfortable user interface (Wizard) for various routine tasks. with SEBAConfigApp (Android, iOS) and the SEBA BlueCon to communicate comfortably wirelessly via Bluetooth with a smartphone or tablet with the logger.


When combined with our data transmission module SlimCom, the Dipper-PT 's recorded measurements are transferred remotely to your workstation.
